Urmee Khan is a freelance print and broadcast journalist based in London and Brighton.

She is currently a digital producer at CNN and she writes, commissions and produces social content across CNN.com International.

Urmee also works at the London bureau of Al Jazeera English, part of the respected Arabic-language news network. Prior to that, she was at the BBC News Channel, the  award-winning 24-hour rolling television network, where she produces home and foreign stories.

Urmee is a former correspondent at The Daily Telegraph and has also worked as a commissioning editor at The Guardian. She has contributed news, business and arts coverage for organisations including HuffingtonPost, The Observer, The Daily Mail, BBC, The Sun, The Mirror, Redwood Publishing, Management Today and Time Out.
